DOI: http://doi.org/10.55706/ijbssr12117
This research explored the impact of using digital
support and flexible technology on the educational achievements of special
education learners in Bangladesh. Both qualitative and quantitative data
collection methods were used in the study. Surveys and interviews were done
with educators, administrators, and specialists in Faridpur and Kushtia
Dstricts. Secondary data were collected from academic journals and reports
regarding intervention of Information and Communication Technology in
education. Research results show that the application of available tools
including voice to text and improved learning programs is helpful in enhancing
students’ participation and comprehension as well as increased performance.
Moreover, these technologies raise motivation, ensure students’ inclusion, and
offer differentiated learning depending on one’s abilities. This study points
to the importance of more rigorous systematization of these technologies in
specially designed instruction together with extensive teachers’ preparation to
address disparities experienced by children with disabilities. These
discoveries depict the possibility of increasing equity in the educational
context through technology, and provide useful information for policy makers,
educators, and developers who were interested in inclusive education.
Recommendations for policy, practice and technology management for supporting
the inclusive education for children with special needs in Bangladesh were
explained in this paper.
