This study was conducted to determine the effects of neem, nishyinda and tulsi leaves extract as a growth promoter of broiler. A total of 40 day-old broiler chicks were divided into four groups i.e. I0, I1, I2 and I3 which were supplemented with combined formulation of neem, nishyinda and tulsi leaves extract @ 0 ml, 1 ml, 2 ml and 3 ml/kg of broiler ration, respectively. Weekly observations were recorded for live body weight, weight gain, feed consumption, feed efficiency and blood parameters of birds for six weeks. The initial body weight of group I0, I1, I2 and I3 on 7th day of this experiment were 161±7.23, 160±7.15, 162±7.40 and 161±7.21gm, respectively and after 42nd day of experiment final body weight were 1563±12.10, 1705±14.87, 1602±13.04 and 1758±14.88 gm, respectively. The net body weight gains were 1402±11.97, 1545±12.05, 1440±11.98 and 1597±12.15 gm, respectively. Economics of production were analyzed and found that net profit per broiler was 18.32, 38.78, 22.73 and 45.44 taka, respectively. It is concluded that the broiler produced by using herbal extract may be cost effective and suitable for human health.
