Despite having the solemn legality over gambling in the majority of the countries all over the world, the Constitution of Bangladesh restricted all forms of gambling since its formation. The purpose of this research is to make an overview of the legal framework, focusing on the loopholes, in Bangladesh to prevent gambling (Casino). The main objective of this paper is to investigate the shortcomings of the legal framework to prevent gambling and suggest some practical recommendations to make the laws in conformity with the current situation of the country. The method of this study is a qualitative interpretive meta-synthesis (QIMS) which reviewed the literature on gambling. The study has found that there is a vacuum in the legal framework that needs to be strengthened through adopting proper legal mechanism. The recommendations would be useful to the law ministry, policymakers, academicians and law activists.
